Have you guys heard Justin Bieber and Ed Sheeran‘s new duet yet? “I Don’t Care” was released at midnight on Friday, May 10, and the “Sorry” crooner got real about his struggles with anxiety in the lyrics.

“With all these people all around / I’m crippled with anxiety,” Justin sings. “But I’m told it’s where we’re supposed to be / You know what? It’s kinda crazy ’cause I really don’t mind / And you make it better like that.”

Personally, we love that the “Love Yourself” singer incorporated his mental health into the lyrics of this track. By doing this, he’s not only letting fans know they’re not alone in their struggles, but he’s also helping to break the stigma around anxiety and depression.

As diehard beliebers know, this isn’t the first time Justin’s opened up about his mental health struggles. On March 10, he took to Instagram to let fans know that he’s been struggling, and that he could really use their support and prayers.

“Just wanted to keep you guys updated a little bit,” the 25-year-old said. “Hopefully what I’m going through will resonate with you guys. Been struggling a lot. Just feeling super disconnected and weird. I always bounce back so I’m not worried just wanted to reach out and ask for your guys to pray for me. God is faithful and ur prayers really work thanks .. the most human season I’ve ever been in facing my stuff head on..”

This post came roughly a month after an Us Weekly source revealed that the pop star was getting help.

“He sees a therapist, but he’s not in a special center or anything,” the insider said. He doesn’t want to be dependent on medication. He struggles with ups and downs, anxiety, depression and uncertainty about the future.”

Honestly, we think it’s really cool that Justin’s chosen to keep it so real with his fans — especially in this new song. In addition to being a track we’ll be listening to all summer, “I Don’t Care” is a reminder that anxiety is very real and very debilitating. Instead of shoving the topic of mental health under the rug, we should all support each other and be more understanding of the struggles people face in their day-to-day lives.

Thank you, Justin!
