Was Justin Bieber watching his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez‘s new cooking show?! Based on his recent Instagram Stories post, it sure does seem like it!

Yep, the internet went into an absolute frenzy after the “Yummy” crooner shared a pic to his Stories that showed his TV screen in the background. Why? Well, fans noticed that her new HBO Max series, Selena + Chef, was on the TV, and they quickly went wild over it.

As fans know, the former Disney star’s new show premiered on August 13, 2020, and we’re obsessed with it! During each episode, the 27-year-old teamed up with a different master chefs — remotely, of course — and together, they took on all different types of cuisine, shared various tips and tricks and dealt with all different problems people may face in the kitchen — from smoking ovens to missing ingredients.

It turns out, this isn’t the first time the pop star was caught checking in on his former flame. Back in April 2019, Justin took to his Instagram Stories to slam a news article that totally spelled his name wrong. He posted a video of his computer screen, but when he accidentally showed his search history for a second, fans quickly noticed that Selena’s Coachella performance of her song with DJ Snake and Ozuna, “Taki Taki,” was there! But the 26-year-old insisted at the time that he didn’t search for her after all.

“The video of Selena singing ‘Taki Taki’ came up after my wife and I watched my Coachella performance. Obviously she’s going to be in the related category. It literally was the next video that played,” he wrote on Instagram. “To fans and people who think I’m maliciously trying to start s**t, grow up.”

“Please stop reading into things so much and making something out of nothing,” he added. “The point of the video was supposed to be funny that they … spelled my name wrong this idea that I secretly [plotted] on opening my history thing purposefully and [zoomed] out just enough so you can see her name is crazy. These are real lives you guys are talking about. Real emotions. Stop acting like you know anything anything… Go to school, read your books and focus on your own personal life.”

The singer concluded, “People have their own fantasies about how they think my life should go and make up all these theories and use their imagination too much. This ends here. [I] will never re-engage with this but [I] had to set the record straight once and for all. We are adults we’re not playing games. There always gonna be something.”
