Former Disney Channel star Miley Cyrus has called for an end to toxic masculinity. Yep, the Hannah Montana actress took to her Instagram Stories on Sunday, April 12 and showed off her epic makeup skills to her 106 million followers. But get this, you guys — the songstress didn’t give herself a makeover. Instead, her boyfriend Cody Simpson got the royal treatment and, boy, did he look good!
After getting completely glammed up, Cody took to his own social media and posted a photo of his final makeup look — complete with red lipstick, eyeshadow and more. At first, the 23-year-old’s caption seemingly read, “Wash your hands and end toxic masculinity,” but it has since been changed to a series of emojis.
Miley also took to her own social media and called for the end to toxic masculinity by not only posting photos of her man wearing some makeup, but other men too.
“End. Toxic. Masculinity,” she captioned one snap. Then added, “Wash your hands and end toxic masculinity. Periodt.”
As fans know, this came just a few days after the “Can’t Be Tamed” songstress totally shaved Cody’s head on Instagram Live! From the looks of it, this couple is totally into quarantine makeovers, and we’re not complaining! But they aren’ the ones! That’s right, Sophie Turner took to Instagram Stories on April 9 and showed off her makeup skills, too. The Game Of Throne alum used her husband Joe Jonas as her canvas and make him sparkle with purple eyeshadow and a blinding highlight.
She also gave the Jonas Brothers member some super thick brows and before admitting to followers that she’s always wanted to give him the full glam treatment.
“He finally let me do his makeup,” she captioned a snap on her Instagram Stories that was screenshotted and reposted by fans. Then added, “That highlight.”
