As soon as we watched To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before for the first time, we were all collectively obsessed with Noah Centineo — or Peter Kavinsky, rather. We mean, remember that steamy kiss during the hot tub scene? Yeah… it was clear he knew what he was doing.
That said, once the rom-com hit Netflix there was understandably a sudden interest in the actor’s life outside of the role he played. Then, when Sierra Burgess is a Loser hit the streaming site, fan interest skyrocketed even more.
So far, Noah’s done several interviews in which he’s opened up about his personal life, but in a recent one with W magazine, he revealed what we’ve all been dying to know — details about his very first kiss!
When asked where it happened, the heartthrob said, “In a hotel in Century City. I was staying there during pilot season, and there was a dance convention. I saw this girl named Mackenzie, and I asked her if she wanted to go to a movie with me. She said yes.”
NGL, it sounds like a pretty standard first kiss story so far. He landed the date, took her to a movie, etc. Unfortunately, things went south from there and we can totally relate!
“It was Cowboys & Aliens, with Daniel Craig,” he said. “So the movie ends, we get up, leave the theater, and we’re holding hands. I walk her to her hotel room and say, ‘Good-night kiss?’ And we pecked. It was less than a millisecond. She closed the door, and that was that. I gave her my number, but I never saw her again. It was probably a terrible peck.”
TBH, all first kisses are awkward AF, so he really shouldn’t feel bad about it . Plus, we’ve all watched TATBILB by now, so we think we can speak for all of us when we say he has definitely mastered his craft.
