As the due date for Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik‘s new baby nears, the model has decided to change up her look! Yep, she said goodbye to her blonde hair and hello to a much darker look, and we are living for it.

The 25-year-old showed off her brunette locks in a selfie posted to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, August 18. She rocked a blue button down shirt and a tank top, but unfortunately, her baby bump could not be seen.

As fans know, the beauty first confirmed that she had a baby on the way on April 30, 2020, after rumors started to circulate that she was expecting.

“Obviously, we wish we could’ve announced it on our own terms, but we’re very excited and happy and grateful for everyone’s well wishes and support,” she said during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon at the time.

Then, Gigi’s mom, Yolanda Hadid, revealed that the baby is due this September!

“Still shocked our little secret got leaked to the press. Of course we are so excited,” the reality star told Dutch TV program RTL Boulevard. “I’m excited to become Oma in September especially after I lost my mom so recently. But this is the beauty of life, one soul leaves us and a new one comes in. We feel very blessed.”

Despite initial rumors that the couple was expecting a boy — after Gigi was spotted holding a balloon with a blue string on Instagram — it’s now being reported that she is having a little girl.

The star has been pretty private throughout her pregnancy, but she did show off her growing stomach for the first time during an Instagram Live on July 15, 2020. She also explained that she hasn’t been posting about her pregnancy a lot because of the coronavirus pandemic.

“A lot of people are confused by why I am not sharing more but I am pregnant through a pandemic, obviously my pregnancy is not the most important thing going on in the world, that’s in part why I didn’t feel a need to share, apart from with my family and friends,” Gigi said. “Obviously a lot of people have lost lives due to [the] coronavirus that was in the beginning of quarantine and still happening. And then we moved obviously into the reemergence of the BLM movement, and I thought that our presence on social media should be used for that.”
