Ever since Charli D’Amelio revealed that Justin Bieber had DMd her during an Instagram Live, fans have been left wondering — what did the singer say to the social media star in his private message?!
Well guys, we finally know why the pop star slid into Charli’s DMs, and the reason is actually super sweet! It turns out, he messaged her to ask her if she could help him make a surprise video for his younger sister, Jazzy Bieber‘s 12th birthday! How cute is that?!
Yep, Justin rounded up a bunch of his celebrity friends and had them record videos of themselves saying happy birthday to his little sister, which he put together to make one of the most epic gifts ever!
In addition to Charli, Camila Cabello, Ariana Grande, Zendaya, Shawn Mendes, Billie Eilish, Addison Rae and more all also got involved. The “Love Yourself” crooner shared the clip to Instagram on Tuesday, May 19, but unfortunately took it down hours later.
For those who missed it, Charli was chatting with fans during a live stream on on Monday, May 18. In the middle of her stream, a comment from the 26-year-old popped up on the feed and read, “Please check [your] DMs when [you’re] done [with your] live. THANKS.”
As soon as she saw the comment, the dancer naturally started to freak, and she asked her viewers if what she just read was “a joke.”
“That’s a joke,” she said. “That’s a joke. That was a joke. Please tell me someone screenshotted that.”
The social media star then replied to Justin’s comment and said, “Okay, I will. Thank you.”
Thankfully, fans screenrecorded the entire thing and reposted the interaction on Instagram.
Hopefully now that they got in touch for Jazzy’s video, they can collab on a video of their own in the future! How epic would that be?!
