Of course, it didn’t take long for fans to totally freak out over Shawn liking the photo, and some fan accounts on Instagram even reposted the evidence to their own feeds — mostly because they were confused about what it all meant. Has Shawn been causing tension in Justin and Hailey’s marriage? Is there beef between Justin and Shawn? Did he like the photo out of spite? If you ask us, these are all valid questions.
If you’re wondering what it all means, the “Sorry” singer just cleared it all up in the comments of fan account @hailsbuzzle on Instagram. He responded by telling the fan to “relax” because the model and the “Lost in Japan” singer are just friends. See?
We don’t know about you, but we’re so relieved to know there’s no drama happening between these three… or is there? Despite the fan capturing evidence that Shawn liked the pic, it seems he’s since gone back and unliked it. At this point, we’re unsure if the “Stitches” singer accidentally like the photo at first, or if he liked it and then changed his mind to avoid drama and inevitable rumors.
Whatever the case may be, Justin doesn’t seem to feel threatened at all by Shawn’s like, which is great. We mean, what’s a marriage without trust? Right?
