Listen up, sisters! Beauty guru Tati Westbrook just took to her channel on Friday, May 10 to expose James Charles, and the tea is piping hot. In the 40-minute video, she slammed the makeup artist for allegedly manipulating straight men, spreading rumors and straight-up being a bad friend.

“This is absolutely not a video I ever thought in a million years that I would be making,” she began. “But I feel after a lot of thought that it’s necessary for me to have a chat with you guys.”

The 37-year-old then went into all the drama that went on during Coachella weekend back in April. If you need a reminder, James shared an ad on his Instagram Stories promoting SugarBearHair vitamins, which just so happens to be a direct competitor of Tati’s wellness brand, Halo Beauty. Once she caught wind of James’ sponsored post, she took to social media distraught and in tears.

“A lot of you guys saw my Instagram Story,” she said. “There have been countless videos made about it. For me, what happened when I posted the video that now has gone very widespread — I was sitting here in the studio. I didn’t have makeup on, and I was ready to film a makeup try on. And I received a text from James Charles. I was completely blindsided, and my emotions just got the best of me. I never jump straight to social, but I was just like so gutted.”

Tati then went on to explain that it was more than just the fact that he decided to promote SugarBearHair; it was that he seemingly did it behind her back.

“It is more than one thing,” she said. “It wasn’t specifically just about vitamins or about Halo. But it was just about being lied to and feeling disrespected. … he had nine days after Coachella to talk to me, he knows where I live — it’s not far from him — he could’ve come face to face and chatted with me because he knew that this would hurt me.”

And while it’s a little surprising that, according to her, he didn’t even make the effort to apologize, Tati said it’s actually not out of the ordinary for him at all.

“To not even get a phone call, to not even get a text a few days prior… that’s pretty typical of James Charles’ behavior. From the time that I met him when he was 17… I know that he has a way of just getting what he wants and I always blamed it on his age.”

So what was the tipping point and why is Tati making this video now? Great question! From the looks of it, the Sisters Apparel founder has been getting a lot of attention lately for many reasons, and not in a good way. For example, his rumored Coachella fling Gage Gomez recently accused him of manipulating straight men into performing sexual acts, and he also got a ton of backlash for his “influencer representation” comments regarding the 2019 Met Gala.

“There’s so much going on with James Charles right now that I do not support, that I do not agree with,” Tati shared. “Fame, power and a fat bank account will change almost anyone. I don’t want to be friends with you. I don’t want to be associated with you. And I need to say that very publicly so that this chapter can just be closed.”

Before officially closing the chapter, though, the YouTube star had a few more scathing things to say about James — things she claims to have seen and heard from the YouTube star himself.

“The last phone conversation that James Charles and I had, he said some things, telling me about a situation that happened in Seattle at my birthday, and it literally made me want to vomit. Oh my God, you tried to trick a straight man into thinking he’s gay yet again. And somehow, you’re the victim. You know, it’s really disgusting to manipulate someone’s sexuality — especially when they are still emerging into adulthood.” OMG.

Well, sisters! It’s safe to say this friendship won’t be rekindled anytime soon… or ever.
