According to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin are going to become parents in 2021! Yep, the actor said he “expects” the couple to have a baby next year, and we are seriously so here for this.
So it all started after the singer shared a snap of himself holding his new niece. For those who missed it, Hailey’s older sister, Alaia Baldwin, welcomed her first baby — a little girl named Iris Elle Aronow — with her husband, Andrew Aronow, on August 17, 2020.
“My baby niece, Iris… Scroll through and whiteness the most squishy cute gumdrop ever!” the “Yummy” crooner captioned the shot. “Love you @alaiabaldwin and @andrewaronow! She’s so precious!”
But it was Dwayne’s comment that really sent the internet into a frenzy.
“This pretty much seals the deal. Fully expect you and H to have a baby in 2021,” he wrote.
YES. PLEASE. It turns out, the 48-year-old’s message came just days after the model confirmed that she and her beau haven’t “made any babies” during quarantine.
“We didn’t make any babies, so that’s that,” she said during PaleyFest LA presented by The Paley Center for Media on Friday, August 7. “Honestly, I really do think we’ve enjoyed this time.”
Previously, the pop star admitted that he wanted to have a baby as soon as his tour is over.
“I’m gonna freaking crush this tour. You and me, traveling the world,” he said to Hailey during an Instagram Live back in January 2020. “Then, after the tour we have a baby.”
But as fans know, the tour was unfortunately postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
He also told Zane Lowe on his Apple Music radio show, “I want to start my own family, in due time. I want to enjoy being married for a little bit, go on tour, be married, enjoy traveling with just us, build more of our relationship. I think that it’s definitely the next step, for sure.”
