Fans are just hours away from the release of Zombies 2, and it’s safe to say that they’re pretty excited. The highly anticipated sequel, which stars Milo Manheim, Meg Donnelly, Kylee Russell, Trevor Tordjman, Carla Jeffery, James Godfrey, Pearce Joza, Chandler Kinney, Baby Ariel and Kingston Foster, is set to hit screens on February 14, 2020, and everyone is counting down the minutes at this point.
Well guys, prepare to get even more pumped (if that’s even possible!) because some of the cast members just spilled a bunch of spoilers exclusively to J-14 — make sure to watch the video above.
For those who forgot, the first movie was an epic musical that focused on Zed, a zombie football player that fell in love with Addie, a human cheerleader. But wait, why (and how) is a zombie attending high school? Well, in the movie, after an accident at the power plant caused half the population to turn into brain-eating zombies, the government created something called “Z-Bands,” which deliver soothing electromagnetic pulses to keep the zombies from you know, eating human flesh and brains.
So what will the sequel be about? According to a statement from Disney Channel, “The sequel will pick up at Seabrook High where, after a groundbreaking semester, Zed and Addison continue to steer both their school and community toward unity, but the arrival of a new group of outsiders — mysterious werewolves — threatens to shake up the newfound peace and causes a rift in Zed and Addison’s budding romance.“
“The werewolves are very mysterious and unpredictable and really exciting because you never know what they’re going to do. That kind of makes them a dangerous group. Seabrook students and zombies are a little afraid at first,” Chandler dished, with Ariel adding, “We come in and we’re strong and powerful and it can be a little scary at times. You don’t exactly know who we are off the bat.”
