British-Irish boy band One Direction has topped the Billboard charts with their debut album Up All Night, sold out a North American tour in mere minutes, performed at the landmark 25th annual Kids' Choice Awards, and graced the cover of dozens of magazines (J-14 Magazine being the first, of course!) in just a matter of weeks -- and now the guys are making their American television acting debut on the hit Nickelodeon comedy iCarly on Saturday, April 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
In the episode called "iGo One Direction" (originally called "iGot Jungle Worms"), Carly comes back home to Seattle after a trip and finds out that the UK sensation One Direction is going to perform on her web show, iCarly. But when 1D's Harry Styles takes a drink from Carly's water bottle, he gets so sick that the group can't perform.
"Harry did a great job and I had a lot of fun working with him," iCarly star Miranda Cosgrove tells J-14 exclusively. "Acting came to them very easily -- they have great comedic timing!" And star Jennette McCurdy adds, "They're all easygoing, funny, and sweet. It was fun to hang out between takes and get to know them."
