Are Alissa Violet and Faze Banks back together? That seems to be the question on everyone’s minds, after the exes were seemingly spotted hanging out once again.
YouTuber Keemstar (also known as DramaAlert) pointed out in a video that the bed in the background of one of Alissa’s recent Instagram Stories looked a lot like the bed in Faze’s house. He also explained that Alissa’s purse could be seen in Faze’s House Tour video, which was uploaded on March 16, 2020.
For those who missed it, the two social media stars first started dating back in June 2017. They were together for more than two years before they announced via Twitter that they had decided to end the relationship in July 2019.
“Alissa and I decided about a month ago that we should take some time apart,” FaZe wrote at the time. “Love that girl to death and always will. I’ll never say a bad word about her. This s–ts about as hard to deal with as it gets. Please respect our privacy through this.”
“To clarify too, this wasn’t one sided by any means. Just like everything else we’ve ever done, it was a team decision,” he added. “Alissa is the most amazing soul I’ve ever come in contact with. She deserves love and support. She’ll continue to have mine forever.”
Then, in December 2019, Alissa alleged that the gamer-turned-YouTuber had cheated on her in a series of tweets. After Faze posted a message that said “I love you,” Alissa fired back, “Did you ‘love me’ when you said you were at Highlight Room but I had your location and you were at a random apartment complex for two hours?”
“Did you ‘love me’ when you texted that girl that you were on your way to her hotel room at 6 A.M. to ‘get weird’ while I was sleeping next to you?” she added.
