Some fans are convinced that Jeffree Star paid for legit robots to leave positive comments on his recent YouTube video, so we decided to investigate.

For those who missed it, the beauty vlogger has been in the midst of a lot of controversy and drama recently. He was accused of lying about his 2019 warehouse robbery after an alleged police report surfaced. He was dropped by the cosmetics brand Morphe after working together for years. And Tati Westbrook accused him and Shane Dawson of “coercing and manipulating” her into turning on James Charles in a recent tell-all video.

But after he posted a new video on Sunday, August 9 called “Addressing RUMORS About Me While Testing New Makeup,” and fans started to notice a lot of positive responses in the comment section, some thought he may have hired people to send him some support. Until the star confirms anything himself, it’s all just speculation that he paid for the comments.

One person took to Twitter and shared an alleged video of the same comment being posted over and over again by different users.

“He paid bots to spam his comments to get on trending,” the person captioned it. Another fan wrote, “Can someone tell me why all the comments on Jeffree’s new video are nice? Like, wasn’t he canceled two seconds ago lol?”

“Jeffree Star returning to YT as if nothing happened and his bootlicker fans defending him in the comments… Just wow. Y’all are brainwashed beyond repair,” a third user tweeted. Another said, “HOW are there still people actively supporting Jeffree Star still? His comments are people kissing a** and I don’t understand.”

The makeup mogul seemingly responded to Tati’s claims in a video called “Doing What’s Right,” although he did not mention her by name.

“Today, I will not be sitting here, showing a million text messages… I will not be entertaining it. My lawyers are entertaining it behind the scenes, but I will not be,” the 34-year-old told viewers. “I never tried to take anyone down. I’m not a villain in a movie. This isn’t a Netflix series with a crazy storyline… This is my real life, and a lot of things that are happening and being said are false.”
