A big congratulations is in order for Jordan Fisher and his longtime girlfriend, Ellie Woods. Yep, that’s right — the lovebirds are engaged. The former Hamilton star took to Instagram to announce the news and share his excitement with fans.

“5/20/19 – I asked my best friend a question…and she said yes. I love you so much, Ellie Woods. Can’t wait to make you my wife MY WIFE,” the Liv and Maddie actor wrote alongside a sweet video, which shows him popping the question.

Back in 2017, the Disney Channel alum exclusively spilled to J-14 all about his history with the soon-to-be registered dietitian.

“We grew up in a theatre company together in Birmingham. We were just friends. It took us a long time for all of a sudden, like a year and a half ago we were kind of like ‘Let’s see what this could be.’ I was working on Hamilton at the time. I was like ‘Come to New York. I’ll take you on some dates and let’s just figure it out.’ So, she came to New York, I took her on some dates, and that was it!” the Teen Beach Movie cutie exclusively gushed to J-14.

Even when the 25-year-old was on Dancing With the Stars, his relationship with the 20-year-old stayed strong.

He told J-14, “We see each other every three weeks. We’ve made the commitment to just doing that because she’s my person. That’s kind of just the bottom line. We grew up together. We have 11 years of friendship and that turned into something really beautiful and special. Just committing to the idea of making it work and being together is something you just do. You just make it work and make it happen. Every three weeks, somebody is on a plane to see each other if it’s a day or two, if it’s a week, if it’s a long weekend. We make it work. I’m kind of stuck in LA right now and she’s in Alabama studying clinical dietetics so her face is in the books all the time. Super, super busy, but she makes it work. Since I’m stuck in LA, she’s been coming back and forth and seeing the show.”

Some of Jordan’s famous friends have already started congratulating him!

Shadowhunters star Katherine McNamara comment on Jordan’s Instagram post, writing, “Congratulations, Jordan and Ellie! So so happy for you!”

His To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before 2 costar Lana Condor wrote, “JORDANNNNNNNNNN CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! I am beyond thrilled for you two.”

Congratulations to the happy couple!
