Get ready, Riverdale stans! KJ Apa is about to take on a role that will really show off his insane musical talent.

That’s right, you guys! According to The Wrap, the Aussie actor will take on the role of a Christian music star named Jeremy Camp in a movie called I Still Believe, which is set to hit theaters on March 20, 2020.

Although we have lots of time until the movie comes out, there are still some things you should know. For example, the flick is based on a true story, and the real Jeremy Camp has experienced a ton of success in his career over the years. Now 41 years old, The Wrap says the singer has had “four RIAA-certified Gold albums, two American Music Awards nominations, 38 No. 1 songs, a Gold digital single with ‘There Will Be A Day’ and was Billboard’s #2 Christian artist of the decade 2010.” Wow.

Clearly, the CW star has a lot to live up to with this performance, but we have all the faith in the world that he’ll be able to pull it off without any issues at all. Filming starts this spring, and we’ll personally be keeping our eyes peeled for any and all updates from the set — especially since KJ’s totally going to thrive in this role.

For those of you who don’t know, the 21-year-old is actually an aspiring musician, so it sounds like this movie will definitely provide the perfect balance between his acting career and his passion for music. Plus, he’s been involved in way more movies lately, adding this one to his résumé just makes a lot of sense.

Haven’t seen any of KJ’s recent flicks? Well, the actor took on the role of Pete in The Hate U Give, and he’s currently working on a few others. The movies Altar Rock and The Last Summer are both in post-production, so he’s obviously been super busy being more than just the Archie Andrews we all know and love.

We don’t know about you, but we think I Still Believe has the potential to be his best performance yet, and next March can’t come soon enough.
