Ever since Harry Styles wrapped up the world tour in July 2018, there’s been one question on everyone’s minds. And that is — what’s next for the One Direction singer? We mean, it’s been over two years since the “Sign of the Times” crooner blessed our ears with some new tunes, so we’ve all been patiently waiting for him to drop a new song. Well guys, you might want to brace yourselves because it appears that the wait is finally over! Yep, it seems like Harry’s new music is right around the corner. How do we know? Well, he was just spotted filming what appears to be a new music video, and we are seriously freaking out.
The 25-year-old was snapped in Cancun, Mexico on August 4, 2019, filming something. Now, we can’t say for sure what it was that he was working on, but according to reports, it was a new music video! He was photographed all around the city, doing various stunts as a film crew video taped his every move. In one clip, the singer could be seen stumbling out of a building and falling down onto a mattress. The 1D heartthrob showed off his abs in a sparkly unbuttoned shirt, suspenders and a pair of high waisted pants for the alleged video shoot.
“His team had bought hundreds of bouquets of violet and purple flowers for the video. Harry spent most of time filming inside a yellow house,” an onlooker told British newspaper The Sun.
Back in November 2018, Harry revealed he was hard at work on his second studio album.
“I’m making my second album right now, so I’m going to do that, read a lot and see what happens,” he said in an interview with i-D Magazine. “When I got the role in Dunkirk, it happened right at the start of my first album, so I had to stop everything for five months. But stuff like that always happens when it happens, so I dunno, man. I’m enjoying not knowing to be honest.”
As fans know, Harry’s been pretty busy lately. He recently became the face of Gucci’s new fragrance, and there are rumors that he’s gearing up to star in Disney’s live-action remake of The Little Mermaid! That’s right. According to The Hollywood Reporter, he’s in early negotiations for the role of Prince Eric.
Whether it was a new music video or something else, we cannot wait to see what he was filming.
