What better way is there to celebrate JoJo Siwa‘s birthday than by throwing a JoJo Siwa-themed party?! Well, that’s exactly what the Nickelodeon star did in honor of her 17th birthday, and boy, did it look like it was epic!
Taking to TikTok on Tuesday, May 19, the internet sensation gave fans an inside look at her birthday bash. The party was filled with JoJo Siwa table cloths, balloons, plates, napkins and more — and all of it had her face on it. Of course, the celebration wouldn’t be complete without tons of cake, ice cream, candy and cookies, which covered the table!
“It’s pretty cool to me that it’s my 17th birthday and I can have my own themed party — that JoJo Siwa can have a JoJo Siwa-themed party,” the singer said in the video, which she captioned, “JoJo Siwa having a JoJo Siwa-themed party. Doesn’t get much better than this!”

While preparing to turn 17, the “D.R.E.A.M.” songstress decided to ditch her signature look, and she sent the internet into a frenzy when she showed off her real hair in another TikTok video posted on Monday, May 18.
“IT’S MY BIRTHDAY TOMORROW,” the singer captioned the clip, which showed her rocking her all-natural curls.

As fans know, the YouTuber is known for almost always keeping her long blonde locks pin straight and pulled back into a ponytail, so fans were pretty shook when she decided to change it up.
But the 17-year-old wants people to know she isn’t changing up her look permanently.
“Recently I’ve shown myself looking different. Not the classic rainbow, sparkles and side ponytail with a JoJo bow,” she wrote in another TikTok, alongside a video of her dancing in black leggings and a hoodie. “I’ve been hated on for YEARS for dressing ‘young’ and ‘childish’ — people think this is me ‘changing.’ LOL nope! I just love who I am! This is just me at night or in the morning!”
