Prepare yourselves, fam, because this is literally the cutest thing we’ve heard in a while. As it turns out, the cast of The Perfect Date watched Austin & Ally together on set. Wait, what?

You heard that correctly, folks! Noah Centineo, Laura Marano and Odiseas Georgiadis, who star in the movie alongside Riverdale‘s Camila Mendes, sat down with Access and revealed that they did, in fact, watch the Disney Channel series together on their final day on set. Why? Well, we’re not so sure. But whatever the reason, we’re absolutely LIVING for it.

Odiseas was the first one to reveal the behind-the-scenes secret. After discussing their chemistry with one another on and off screen, Odiseas slid in that minor (er, major) detail. Luckily, the Austin & Ally star herself elaborated a bit.

“Yes, we did that on the last day. Not sure why,” with Noah adding, “I forgot about that.”

While we totally wish we had more details about their Austin & Ally binge-watching sesh, it’s OK because they went on to talk about something we were also super curious about — what it was like working with Camila.

“She’s so awesome,” Laura said. “And she came kind of in the latter half of filming, so we had already gotten really close and this great rapport. You never know. You kind of feel bad when we’ve had a lot more time to connect, and first day — legitimately first day — we’re in Noah’s room talking until 6 a.m.” Aww!

Noah also had only kind things to say about the actress, and we’re seriously swooning over the way he talked about her.

“Cami’s super intelligent,” he said. “She graduated from NYU and she went straight from there to Riverdale, which is such a crazy coincidence with Cole Sprouse. And I think another person on Riverdale as well graduated from NYU, so they were all in the same school, so she’s really, really intelligent and she’s also deeply talented.”

But wait. If you thought all the gushing over the 24-year-old was over, think again.

Laura added, “She’s just awesome through and through, and I’m like, I wish she lived in L.A. more because she films all the time in Vancouver. So I’m just like ‘I love you.’ She’s awesome.”

Clearly, there’s a ton of love and chemistry between these costars, and we don’t know about you, but we can’t wait to watch it all for ourselves when The Perfect Date hits Netflix on April 12.
