In the midst of her recent lipstick scandal, Jaclyn Hill has deleted her Instagram and Twitter accounts, and fans are definitely not pleased.

ICYMI, the YouTuber came under fire at the beginning of the month after fans found legit hairs, lumps and what appeared to be mold inside her products. But in a YouTube video uploaded on June 12 the 28-year-old defended her makeup line and insisted that her products were completely safe to use.

“The first thing that I want to address before anything else is the accusations that my lipsticks are expired, moldy or hazardous in any way, shape or form. I’m going to put up documents throughout this entire video so you guys can see the actual proof,” she said in the video. “My lipsticks are not moldy. They are not hazardous. They are not contaminated. They are not unsafe for you in any way, shape or form. Every single ingredient in my lipstick is new, and it is FDA approved.”

The beauty guru explained in the vid that the lumps fans were seeing were just oxygen bubbles. As for the hairs, those apparently came from the cotton gloves that the factory workers wore while making the product.

Jaclyn also promised to give anyone who ran into these issues a full refund and a fresh lipstick. But when fans received the new products, they discovered the same problems — and something even worse. Get this, you guys — YouTuber Pretty Pastel Please even found a piece of metal in her lipstick.

And in a video uploaded on June 25 the founder of Makeup Geek, Marlena Stell, revealed that she used the same lab that manufactured Jaclyn Hill Cosmetics lipsticks for an unreleased concealer. It turns out, she discovered similar problems with her products. And get this, you guys — the makeup mogul claimed that she actually warned Jaclyn about the dangers of working with the lab, but Jaclyn clearly didn’t listen.

Naturally, fans were not happy about the influencer deleting her social media, and they took to Twitter to share their frustration.

“Jaclyn Hill deactivated her Twitter. Sis, we’re never going to go away and when you come back we’re still gonna be mad at what you did,” one fan tweeted. “Running and hiding won’t solve anything. JUST TELL THE TRUTH FOR ONCE!”

“@JaclynHill HAS OFFICIALLY DELETED HER TWITTER AND INSTAGRAM. WOW. WHAT KIND OF BRAND OWNER DOES THIS CHILD S–T,” another wrote, while a third fan added, “Not becoming a drama twitter but Jaclyn Hill straight deleting her social medias completely is one of the funniest responses to a product scandal I’ve ever seen.”

Clearly, the social media star needs to address this again — and ASAP!
