The singer is opening up! Yep, that’s right, Harry Styles just got real about what went wrong in his past relationships, and he said that he’s the one to blame for them not working out!
While speaking to the British newspaper Metro, the One Direction member explained, “Sitting here today I would have to say [all my relationships] always go wrong, so far. The common denominator would be me — I have been in them. All of them. I love love. I cannot say I have had a lot of proper relationships, but they can be hard for different reasons. Touring is really hard and stuff like that. I try and keep the fame thing out of the relationship thing as much as possible.”
As fans know, the singer has been linked to Taylor Swift, Camille Rowe, Kiko Mizuhara, Tess Ward, Georgia Fowler, Nadine Leopold, Kendall Jenner, Paige Reifler, Cara Delevingne, Caroline Flack and more over the years. Harry’s admission comes just weeks after he admitted that he’d be a virgin if it wasn’t for his time in the band. For those who missed it, Radio.com asked the pop star what he’d be doing if he wasn’t a musician, and he admitted that his love life is what would have suffered the most.
“A virgin,” the 26-year-old quipped when the radio station asked what would have become of him if he hadn’t joined the group.
He also previously dished on how hard it is to date while being in the public eye.
“It’s always kind of a balance thing, because you want to date normally but then, you also want to protect it so it can be normal,” Harry told Howard Stern on his Sirius XM radio show. “I think a big part of it is like, you wanna be able to spend enough time with each other where you can get to know each other before you have to deal with the extra stuff.”
