Ever since news hit the web that Disney was making a live-action remake of the animated classic Hercules, there was one question on everyone’s minds. And that is — who will star as Hercules and Meg?!

For those who missed it, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that the epic movie was in the works back in April. According to the outlet, Dave Callaham is set to write the script, and Joe and Anthony Russo (who slayed the box office with their 2019 film Avengers: Endgame) are going to produce it. Plus, The Disinsider reported that the network is looking to recruit famed director Jon Favreau (known for the Iron Man films and The Jungle Book remake) to direct the project. And that’s not all! The highly-anticipated remake will reportedly feature all the fan-favorite classic tunes from the original movie — like “Zero To Hero” and “Go The Distance” — along with a bunch of show-stopping new ones.

Wow, how awesome does that sound?! The cast hasn’t been announced just yet, but fans quickly started to suggest various celebrities for the role of Hercules and his love interest, Meg. Some people wanted Harry Styles (who was considered for the role of Prince Eric in The Little Mermaid remake, but ultimately turned it down to focus on music) or Noah Centineo to play the God we all know and love. While other people have begged Disney to cast Ariana Grande or Dove Cameron as Meg! And get this — according to some reports, the network is looking at the former Victorious actress after she posted a cover of the song “I Won’t Say I’m In Love.” But unfortunately, until Disney announces anything, it’s all just speculation for now.

In the mean time, we went ahead and came up with a bunch of other possibilities for the roles, you know, just for fun! And we would love to hear your thoughts on the matter. Hey Disney — if you need help deciding, we’ve totally got you covered!
