Selena Gomez is hoping to change the world by reaching out to kids in need. The Wizards of Waverly Place star was appointed UNICEF Ambassador last week -- and is now in Ghana to meet with the children there.
"Every day 25,000 children die from preventable causes," Selena said. "I stand with UNICEF in the belief that we can change that number from 25,000 to zero. I know we can achieve this because every moment, UNICEF is on the ground providing children with the lifesaving assistance needed to ensure zero becomes a reality."
Not just that, Selena is the youngest UNICEF Ambassador ever -- you go girl!
How are YOU doing your part in changing the world?
Check out these photos that's she's Twittered her trip so far... For the photo above, she wrote: "Then we flew to Tamale, Ghana to visit kids who told us about how Unicef is helping them."
"Got a lesson in how to dance."
"Then I went to visit a tribe where the women gifted me with an outfit they hand made. Then I got to hold a new born baby :)"
