It all began last Saturday morning. I woke up with the realization that later that afternoon I was going to meet the Jonas Brothers and see them and Demi Lovato in concert. Talk about waking up more stoked than ever! I arrived at the venue around 3 p.m. Right off the bat I went and purchased a Jonas Brothers tour T-shirt. See:
A little while after that my girlfriend Chelsea and I made our way into the Jonas Brothers' sound check. It was insane! They had some of the Camp Rock 2 cast hosting the sound check. Then Demi came on stage and sound checked with her song "Catch Me." After that the Jonas Brothers made their way onto the stage. They call their sound check the "sound check party" and they were right on. After they checked with a couple of songs they did the Q&A they picked six lucky fans and invited them on stage to play musical chairs. After that this girl from the audience went on stage and did a duet with Nick. Their sound check party definitely made me even more amped for the concert.
Once the sound check party was finished everyone went out into the lobby area of the pavilion and lined up for the meet and greet. It was so rad because it seemed like each person in line had their own story of the first time they met the brothers or saw them in concert. It was quite entertaining hearing all of the stories. Finally, the time had come. Chelsea and I made our way on to the patio where the JoBros were and we shook their hands and took a picture with them. I couldn't stop smiling cause I had just met three heroes of mine.
Now it was rounding 7 o'clock and the show was about to start. The show started with Alyson Stoner and other Camp Rock 2 cast mates teaching the audience a dance to one of the songs from the movie. After, Alyson Stoner performed one of her originals. It is incredible how good of a dancer she is. Next came Demi where she performed originals and Camp Rock songs with the cast. It was the perfect mix of songs and incredibly entertaining.
The time was 8:40 p.m. and the Jonas Brothers were coming on stage. The place was going insane. Everyone there including myself screamed for like three minutes! They put on of the most amazing concerts I've ever been to and definitely topped themselves from the last time I saw them. If you haven't seen them in concert, you are definitely missing out!
