Miley Cyrus & Liam Hemsworth

After being on-and-off for 10 years, this couple officially went their separate ways in August 2019. Miley released a song called “Slide Away” following their breakup which seemingly addressed the issues in their relationship. A year following their split, Us Weekly reported that Liam has a “low opinion” of Miley.

“Liam kind of has a low opinion of Miley at this point,” a source told the publication. “He was really hurt by their split. They haven’t talked much since their divorce. Liam was hurt by Miley moving on with new love interests shortly after they broke up.”

“[He] has had the support of his family to help him move on,” the insider continued. “Liam has been trying to be as private as possible and respectful about their relationship and breakup, and it’s a shame to him and his family that certain aspects about his and Miley’s relationship have been made public. He’s a very traditional and good guy and was very hurt by the way specific instances played out in front of the world.”

Zayn Malik & Perrie Edwards

During their realtionship, the couple found themselves involved cheating scandal in 2013 when it was rumored that the One Direction singer reportedly cozied up with an Australian waitress. Nonetheless, they still stayed together and Zayn even inked a portrait of Perrie on his arm. The pair even got engaged in August 2013 before they hit the red carpet together at One Direction’s This Is Us film premiere.

Their relationship started to get rocky when the pair was struck by more cheating rumors in March 2015 after a photo of Zayn and a mystery girl surfaced on Twitter. In August 2015, a source confirmed to Us Weekly that Zayn had called off their engagement.

In 2016, Zayn claimed the two went their separate ways because he “fell out of love” with the songstress. A source told J-14 exclusively in 2019 that although it’s been three years since their breakup, the ex-lovers don’t speak at all.

“Zayn and Perrie don’t talk,” the insider dished. “It took Perrie a long time to get over Zayn after he called off the engagement. She was left heartbroken.”

She also released a song called “Shout Out To My Ex” following their split and has since called it the “most special” song she’s ever written.

Selena Gomez & Justin Bieber

These two were on-and-off for a few years before officially calling their relationship quits in 2018. A few months later Justin lashed out at fans for still shipping him and Selena even though he was engaged to someone else. Not only did he release a song called “Love Yourself” that seemingly threw major shade at his ex, but she dropped her own songs about the musician.

On “Lose You To Love Me,” she sang about having to let go of a guy so that she can learn to love herself after being in a toxic relationship. And while Selena hasn’t specified who the song is about, she did seemingly throw in a reference to Justin’s 2015 album, Purpose. Then in 2020, Selena also said that she had been a “victim” of emotional abuse while dating the “Yummy” singer.

“As much as I definitely don’t want to spend the rest of my life talking about this, I am really proud that I can say I feel the strongest I’ve ever felt and I’ve found a way to just walk through it with as much grace as possible,” she told NPR’s Weekend Edition Sunday at the time.

Justin never publicly responded to Selena’s claims.

It’s unclear whether or not things will ever be all good between these two.

Zac Efron & Vanessa Hudgens

In 2010, the two Disney Channel stars called it quits after being together for five years. Since then, Vanessa admitted to The New York Times in 2015 jealousy played a major role in their split.

“I went through a phase when I was really mean because I was so fed up. Girls were running after him, and I was giving them death stares. Then I realized that’s not what that’s about. ‘Spread the love, be a good person, they support you, be nice,’” she explained.

After their split, both Zac and Vanessa revealed that they don’t talk. In 2014, he said that he and his ex weren’t in touch and, years later, she told Cosmopolitan that she hadn’t “seen Zac or spoken to him in years.”

Demi Lovato & Wilmer Valderrama

As fans know, the songstress and the actor were first linked back in 2010. They were on-and-off for six years before calling it quits for good in June 2016. Following their breakup, it seemed like there was no bad blood between the two, Demi even said she was “happy for him” when Wilmer got engaged to Amanda Pacheco, but she seemingly shaded her ex the music video for single “I Love Me.”

Throughout the visual, Demi walked passed by a couple getting married and some fans were convinced she was referring to her past relationship with Wilmer. Why? Well, the video actually came out just after Wilmer and Amanda got engaged.

Taylor Swift & Calvin Harris

Calvin and Taylor dated for over a year, after they met in February 2015. But when they broke up in June 2016, it wasn’t pretty. The singer shaded his ex multiple times on Twitter. But it appears that things are all good between them now since he’s liked a few of her posts on Instagram!

Dove Cameron & Ryan McCartan

From 2013 until 2016, these two Disney stars were total relationship goals — they even got engaged! But, ultimately, the two called it quits after three years. Following the breakup, Dove claimed Ryan had treated her badly during their relationship, and he accused the actress of cheating on him with her current boyfriend, Thomas Doherty.

Then, in January 2020, Ryan took to Instagram and told fans that there are no hard feelings between them.

“I think Dove and I fundamentally agree about our relationship with one another. We were young and immature. Our relationship was dysfunctional. We were a bad match,” he continued. “She has made claims about me and about our past that I don’t think are fair or even true, but she is entitled to her opinion. Camila and Austin started dating back in 2014. It’s unclear why they split in the end, but it appeared that things didn’t end too well between them. When the singer started dating Becky G weeks later, he claimed that his relationship with Camila wasn’t real.

“It’s crazy, I never had, like, a real relationship before, so it’s pretty crazy,” Austin told MTV while chatting about his new romance with Becky G.

Camila responded on Twitter.

“D**n, good to know,” Camila tweeted after the interview hit the web.

But there’s no bad blood, now! Austin spoke highly of Camila after she released the music video for her song “Havana,” telling Seventeen, “I thought it was really cool. She did a little acting in there, which was dope. She looked really beautiful as well. She’s really doing her thing right now and I’m very, very proud of her.”

Charlie Puth & Bella Thorne

After they briefly dated, the pair slammed each other on Twitter. Charlie posted a series of tweets that seemingly slammed the former Disney Channel star for dating someone else. Eventually Bella went on the The Jenny McCarthy Show and explained that Charlie made a mistake, but never reached out to her about it.
“He didn’t even text me or talk to me about it,” she explained at the time. “But I kept calling him. Wouldn’t answer my calls. Then he just starts texting me.”

As fans know, the two stars started dating in May 2018 and announced they were getting married just a few weeks later. Their whirlwind romance lasted only five months. Then, Pete seemingly dragged his ex during his Netflix comedy special Pete Davidson: Alive From New York.

During the 50-minute stand-up routine, Pete spoke about his relationship with the pop star. He referred to Ariana’s August 2019 Vogue cover where she famously called the Saturday Night Live cast member “an amazing distraction.” Pete also took shots at their relationship, which she called “frivolous and fun and insane and highly unrealistic” in the same interview.

“She has her songs and stuff and this is what I have,” he said talking about the stage show. “You’re like, ‘Pete, this isn’t fair. You’re airing out dirty laundry. How could you do that? Where did she say this stuff? To her friends in the confidence of her own home?’ No, she said it on the cover of Vogue magazine.”

He continued, “Can you imagine if I did that? My career would be over tomorrow if I spray-painted myself brown and hopped on the cover of Vogue magazine and just started s**tting on my ex.”

Vanessa Morgan & Michael Kopech

Although it’s unclear exactly what went wrong between them after being married for six months, the Chicago Tribune reported that online court records showed that the White Sox pitcher filed for divorce on June 19, 2020, in Morris County, TX. They reported that the case was sealed and that no hearing date is scheduled. The actress also announced that she was pregnant and Michael was not tagged in the post or present in any of the photos and videos.

Alissa Violet & Faze Banks

The two social media stars first started dating back in June 2017 and were together for more than two years before they announced via Twitter that they had decided to end the relationship in July 2019. Then — months after their split — in December 2019, Alissa alleged that the gamer-turned-YouTuber had cheated on her in a series of tweets. After Faze posted a message that said “I love you,” Alissa fired back, “Did you ‘love me’ when you said you were at Highlight Room but I had your location and you were at a random apartment complex for two hours?”

She added, “Did you ‘love me’ when you texted that girl that you were on your way to her hotel room at 6 A.M. to ‘get weird’ while I was sleeping next to you?”

Alissa also revealed that after their break up, Faze said he wanted nothing to do with their dogs and seemingly told Alissa to send them to her parents in Ohio. He responded to Alissa’s tweet thread once and addressed the dog situation, but not the cheating allegations.

“I couldn’t take care of them? I want them to have a good life?” Faze posted at the time. “Why are we doing this online?”

Luke Hemmings & Arzaylea Rodriguez

Luke and Arzaylea first went public with their love in October 2015. Throughout their time together, fans often accused her of using the singer for fame, which led to a rocky on-and-off relationship between the pair. The two called it quits for good in 2017, after rumors surfaced that Arzaylea had been cheating on Luke with singer, Blackbear. After their relationship, she took to social media slammed the 5SOS member — alleging he cheated on her and did drugs — while defending herself to fans.

Luke never addressed the drama, but following her accusations posted a photo of himself performing captioned, “This is all that matters.”

Charli D’Amelio & Chase Hudson

Romance rumors between Charli and Chase first started swirling in December 2019, after a video of them kissing and holding hands went viral. After a few months together, the two announced their breakup following rumors that Chase was talking with other girls while dating Charli hit the web.

Despite rumors that they got back together in June 2020, things started to turn sour between Charli and Chase. In a since-deleted tweet, Chase claimed that he kissed Josh Richards‘ ex-girlfriend Nessa Barrett after splitting with Charli. Then, Charli clapped back with her own reply, claiming that Chase showed up at her house after kissing Nessa. Days after the drama went down, Charli took to Instagram and in a tear-filled livestream told fans that she had a “very long” talk with Chase and they realized that “they were just not right for each other.”

In August 2020, she told the paparazzi that, past drama aside, she’s “friends” with Chase.

“Yeah I mean, I’m friends with everyone. I don’t have bad blood or anything… So everything’s like chill. We’re all friends, we all do the same thing,” Charli explained.

Dixie D’Amelio & Griffin Johnson

Fans first started to speculate that Griffin and Dixie were more than friends after they posted a flirty TikTok together in February 2020. Then, they confirmed their relationship and revealed that they had been talking for six months before going official.

Things started to go south in their relationship when Chase Hudson accused Griffin of cheating on Dixie. At the time, she set the record straight and denied the rumors, but on July 30, 2020, a slew of other cheating allegations came to light. Fans started to speculate that Griffin and Dixie had broken up after a TikTok video (that went viral) alleged that Griffin messaged another girl and explicitly told her he was “single.” Some eagle-eyed fans noticed that the couple unfollowed each other on various social media platforms. Dixie later confirmed their breakup in a YouTube video from August 2020, and also said they’re not on “bad terms” following the split.

“I’m definitely going to be by myself for a very long time,” Dixie explained while talking to the paparazzi in August 2020. “But there’s also no point in having bad blood or internet beef for no reason… It’s not worth it.”
